The Fridge (“we”, “us”, or “our”) operates the family calendar web application available at thefridgeschedule.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
We collect information you provide directly, including your name, email address, phone number, household member details, and calendar events. We also collect usage data (e.g., log data, device information) automatically through standard web technologies.
We use your information to provide and improve The Fridge service, send event reminders (including via SMS), manage household memberships, and respond to support requests. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from SMS reminders at any time. You will receive a confirmation text, and no further messages will be sent.

Carriers Supported:
All major U.S. and Canadian wireless carriers are supported. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
The Fridge's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
What we access: When you connect your Google Calendar, we request the calendar.readonly and calendar.events scopes so The Fridge can read your calendar events (title, start/end time, location) and create, update, or delete events that you add inside The Fridge.
How we use it: Google Calendar data is used solely to display your events alongside other family members' events in your household calendar view, and to keep events you create in The Fridge in sync with your personal Google Calendar. We only modify events that originate from The Fridge — we never alter unrelated calendar entries.
How we store it: Calendar data is stored only for the authenticated user and is protected by row-level security. We do not sell, share, or transfer Google user data to third parties, do not use it for advertising, and do not use it to train AI or machine learning models. Human access to Google user data is limited to investigating security incidents, complying with the law, or as needed to provide support that you have requested.
How to revoke access: You can disconnect your Google Calendar at any time from the Settings page in The Fridge, or revoke access directly at myaccount.google.com/permissions. When you disconnect or delete your account, all Google Calendar data is permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
We share limited data with trusted service providers solely to operate The Fridge (e.g., cloud hosting, SMS delivery via Twilio). All providers are contractually bound to protect your data.
You may update or delete your account information at any time through the Settings page. If you delete your account, all associated household and event data will be permanently removed within 30 days.
